Guides

Each guide explains one part of the site or of the semantics, in plain words.

• How to read the site: This guide explains how to read the documentation site. It describes what each page holds, how status marks work, how keys connect parts, and how tools inspect JSON artifacts.
• The fiber machine: This guide explains the Effect4 fiber machine on one page. It defines how fibers execute, how stacks manage frames, how tapes supply decisions, how scopes finalize resources, and how runs advance.
• What the evidence means: This guide explains how to interpret formal evidence across Effect4. It covers theorems, planned goals, theorems proved modulo goals, the trust ceiling on axioms, and why claims restrict to explicit fragments and observations.
